Here you can see the content of my work with the German Swimming Association

Since 2019, I have had the honor of working with the Olympic swimmers of SC Magdeburg Schwimmen. On an individual level, we develop training and therapy content from neuro-centered approaches to improve performance and health. The athletes I work with include:

  • Sarah Wellbrock, Olympic 2021 bronze 1500m freestyle, world champion 4x 1.25km open water, vice world champion 1500m freestyle
  • Florian Wellbrock, Olympic 2021 gold in 10km open water and bronze in 1500m freestyle, world champion 1500m freestyle and 10km open water
  • Lukas Märtens, Olympic gold medalist 2024 over 400m, world record holder 400m, freestyle swimmer 200m, 400m, 1500m, 4x200m
  • Rob Muffels, world champion 4x 1.25km (career ended in 2024)
  • Franziska Hentke, 2017 World Championship silver medal in 200m butterfly and gold at the European Short Course Championships (career ended in summer 2021)
  • Isabel Gose, Olympic bronze medal 2024 over 1500m freestyle, gold 400m freestyle European Championship 2022, gold German short course championship 400m freestyle
  • Oliver Klemet, World Championship gold 4x 1.5km open water 2022, World Championship bronze 10km open water 2023
  • Finnia Wunram, runner-up in the 25km open water world championship (career ended in summer 2021)

As part of the complex performance diagnostics of the elite swimmers of the German Swimming Association, I supervise the diagnostics on a neuro-functional level. This means that the athletes are not only examined for their technical and physical qualities, but also tested for essential neuronal skills.
