If you want to do justice to functional anatomy, i.e. how our musculoskeletal system shapes movements, you have to think beyond wobble boards. Sensorimotor function encompasses all the sensors that our body needs to control movements and their interpretation and implementation to achieve the goal of movement. The vestibular system is one of these essential sensory organs.
