Handball Bundesliga
As an athletics and individual coach, I have been coaching the SC Magdeburg Handball team in the 1st Handball Bundesliga since 2019
In terms of rehabilitation and performance improvement, I have already been able to optimize the healing process and compensate for functional deficits in several mild concussions (mTBIs) using neurocentric approaches. These often persist and are not taken into account in conventional rehabilitation.
As an athletics trainer, I take into account the specific requirements of my athletes so that I can do them maximum justice.
In modern times, athletic training is much more than just strength training – because findings from the movement and neurosciences are bringing more and more factors to the fore that are at least equally relevant for athletes. As an athletic trainer, I therefore also help my athletes with pain, improving perceptual processes, attention, mental training, visual training, etc.
Of course, strength training is still an extremely important part of our daily work! We use various methods to prepare active and passive structures and ensure that the “hardware” is also right.
